In order to raise awareness among Canada’s professionals about European table olives, familiarize them with the product and show them how to incorporate table olives in their recipes, 2 masterclasses were held at The Culinary Arts School of Ontario, Toronto. The seminars began with the presentation of European table olives and their predominant role in the Mediterranean diet, its qualitative and delicious advantages, its great nutritional value and the way they are produced and processed.

Chef Anthony Zolkiewicz prepared on-site for students who attended the seminar, olive-based dishes, answering their questions, inviting them to participate in the making process, while the students tasted the recipes.

The action was videotaped by the School, aiming to present it as educational material to the other students, thus enhancing the information of future professionals in the country.
