The event took place at the Notting Hill Hall in London on the 19th February 2018 and the guests were opinion makers, cooking and health food journalists and bloggers. The recently renovated Georgian building of the CIEE Global Institute, centrally located in the Bloomsbury district, offers easy access to the heart of London. During the event, the room was centered on the projected product (olive trees were placed inside and outside, tablecloths decorated with olives, etc.).
Chef Mathew David presented the attending journalists, bloggers and opinion leaders the comparative advantages of European table olives, their nutritional value and the campaign’s goals. The guests tried the products and an open discussion followed with the speaker. During the event, the video of the program was screened so that guests would have more information about the campaign and the product ‘s processing steps (collection, standardization e.t.c).
In addition, Chef presented the menu based on European table olives, explaining in detail the dishes that were served.
At the end of the presentation, the attendees completed questionnaires and press kit and samples of the product were offered to them.
